Ready for Takeoff: Orlando International Airport Strategic Plan Book

For over 30 years, the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA), a city agency that operates and maintains Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Orlando Executive Airport (ORL), has focused on meeting the aviation needs of the Central Florida Region while delivering outstanding customer service that is now know as The Orlando Experience. Today, Orlando International Airport is the second busiest airport in Florida, ranked by the number of passengers with more destinations than any other airport in Florida. On average, MCO serves over 3 million international passengers a year.

To adapt with the rapid changes in the technology, safety, the economy, as well as to compete against regional and statewide competition, GOAA turned to Appleton Creative to design a strategic plan book outlining the airports’ long-term goals for success. GOAA wanted an alternative approach to the standard heavy-text document, seeking a book that was more modernized and informative. In turn, Appleton delivered a comprehensive booklet showcasing GOAA’s overall framework for the future of air travel in Central Florida, as well as a plan to further business, tourism, and the growth interest to our local community.
