At the dawn of Orlando’s tourism economy, the rising demand of luxury accommodations had to be met. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress answered the call, becoming Orlando’s first 5 Star, 5 Diamond resort in 1984. Now 30 years later, Hyatt stands tall as an iconic piece of Central Florida history and one of the grandest resorts in town.
To honor this triumph, Hyatt dedicated the recent issue of their seasonal magazine, Grand Times, to their 30-year anniversary. The Appleton Creative team came together to instill a retro, yet classical, feel to the new issue. Featuring flashback facts and photos of the resort, the issue takes readers back in time while providing informative and entertaining content about Hyatt’s present events. The magazine is distributed by mail and throughout the guest rooms and lobby areas of the hotel.
