The Victory Cup Initiative is the ultimate goodwill event. With the goal of tapping into resources for Central Florida nonprofits, Victory Cup is placing these organizations into a room with Orlando’s most philanthropic companies. And the gains aren’t small. Determined by the audience during the event, one winner will leave with $20,000. That’s why, as you can imagine, the branding for the event had to be as innovative as the idea, and Appleton jumped at the challenge.
Presented by Vann Strategies, the Victory Cup Initiative is a revolutionary event that is equipping 10 local nonprofits with the opportunity to tell their stories. Taking place on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Winter Park Community Center, the audience will vote to determine the first, second and third place winners, who will receive grand prizes of $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000 respectively. All remaining organizations will be awarded a $1,000 participation grant, guaranteeing that everyone leaves a winner. The selected philanthropies will be treated to a storytelling workshop led by Rick Stone, and event attendees will enjoy Orlando Sentinel columnist Scott Maxwell as emcee.
