Orlando International Airport Expansion Brochure
Beginning in March, Appleton collaborated with Orlando International Airport to produce dynamic collateral that featured the new expansion of the Intermodal Terminal Facility and other state-of-the-art improvements. The brochure uses high-resolution photographs and renderings, a projected timeline for future projects and strategically designed charts and graphs to showcase Orlando International Airport’s achievements through innovation, customer service, sustainability and community collaboration. In addition, the brochure features a removable insert that folds open into a projected timeline for upcoming renovations, accompanied by captivating imagery.
Victory Cup Initiative Branding, Collateral and Online Launch
Victory Cup Initiative puts Orlando’s most philanthropic businesses into a room to vote for local nonprofit organizations that have the opportunity to win grand prizes of $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000, respectively. The remaining seven organizations also walk away with $1,000 in their pockets! As a title sponsor of this ultimate goodwill event, Appleton created an all-encompassing branding package that included the logo, collateral, website, e-blasts, brochures and stationery, in addition to an upcoming video. The website was created as a one-page scrolling site for the nonprofits, attendees and sponsors to rely on for information.
Orlando Repertory Theatre Commercial
The Orlando Repertory Theatre (The Rep) is a magical place filled with wholesome entertainment: musicals, youth academy programs and field trips for children. To elicit excitement and notoriety for this amazing theatre, Appleton created and produced a 30-second commercial airing on Brighthouse Networks, entitled “Creating Moments That Matter.” The commercial demonstrated exactly what The Rep has to offer families and children.
Urbain 40 American Brasserie & Lounge Website, Social Media & PR Campaigns
Urbain 40 brings a fresh, new culinary perspective to the Dellagio Shopping Center in Dr. Phillips. Guests enjoy an elegant, 1940s-era atmosphere while indulging in chef-crafted American and continental classics for lunch, dinner and late night meals. Before the restaurant’s opening, Appleton designed a gorgeous website and launched social media and traditional and digital PR campaigns to attract buzz. Less than one month after the site went live, Urbain 40’s visitor traffic was well over 2,000 unique visitors with 74% of traffic coming from organic leads as a result of our extensive SEO work. The website also had an unheard-of bounce rate near 30%, and a combined social engagement reach of over 340,000. Appleton’s public relations efforts resulted in over 50 published articles and mentions in print and online. Urbain 40 also just won OpenTable’s Diners’ Choice 2015.
weLEAD Orlando Website
weLEADOrlando.com is the women’s professional resource in Central Florida. This ecosystem serves as a place for women entrepreneurs and executives to share information, grow in their careers and support one another’s professional journeys. Appleton has been involved since the beginning with the guidance and experience of Diana LaRue and Amy Wise from our executive marketing team. In addition to being a valuable asset to weLEAD Orlando’s founding, Appleton designed and programmed the interactive and fully responsive weLEADOrlando.com, which is now packed with resources in various categories.
Seaside Insurance Branding and Website
Seaside National Bank & Trust announced in April that it acquired The Vaughn Group, Inc., an insurance and group benefits firm that formed in 1973. The acquisition resulted in Seaside Insurance, a new company in need of proper branding to convey its expertise and full spectrum of financial products. Appleton branded Seaside Insurance to complement the established Seaside family with a logo, brand guide, collateral and contemporary website to showcase its capabilities and wide range of client services.
amaZulu is a leading supplier of natural and synthetic architectural theming materials, including bamboo and eucalyptus poles, fencing, thatch products and more. Serving a wide breadth of audiences, such as designers, architects, general contractors and project managers, amaZulu’s website just wasn’t cutting it. The company needed a way to speak directly to each market without hiding the information behind too many doors and clicks. Appleton redesigned amaZulu’s new website into a true work of art that uses beautiful images of the products and concisely displays information to help visitors find exactly what they need from amaZulu, presenting its expansive suite of services and products without looking cluttered.
While our own website was our prized possession of 2015 (definitely not biased), the work we were able to produce for our clients is most rewarding. We’re ecstatic to start the new year and see what exciting projects and innovative concepts we come up with in 2016. Stay tuned…
