The 50 Year Road to Success: Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority

After years of innovation, extensions and refinements, July 2013 marked the 50th anniversary of the organization responsible for interconnecting Orlando’s local communities and giving surrounding cities quick access to Central Florida. Appleton Creative has worked closely with the Expressway Authority to help document these historic events by designing a timeline booklet and a variety of environmental branding pieces. The Appleton video team also produced a video showcasing the organization’s historic 50 years of service.

Appleton had the pleasure to collaborate with Rhett in developing an E-newsletter and a series of colorful marketing collateral.

Appleton to Host PurpleLight National Vigil for Hope

The Appleton Awareness Gallery is proud to present “PurpleLight”, the pancreatic cancer awareness art exhibit now officially open to the public. The Pancreatic Cancer Network is a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer. Stop by Appleton Creative on October 27th from 4:30 to 7:00p.m. for the PurpleLight of Central Florida’s Vigil for Hope – an event honoring loved ones fighting pancreatic cancer and those who have lost the fight.

Zebra Coalition’s Mascot Makes its Debut on Camera 

Appleton’s video department has its share of unique shoots, but it’s not every day that we get to work with an exotic animal. In our most recent shoot for the Zebra Coalition a network of organizations that provide services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth, our team got up close and personal with a 60 pound, five-month-old baby zebra. The video is part of a series of PSAs responding to the growing number of LGBT+ youth who are experiencing homelessness and a wide range of life challenges and setbacks.

We are excited to announce the hire of our multi-talented marketing diva – Kendra Haley. As our Account Manager, Haley manages day-to-day coordination of agency activities and client relations. Kendra builds fulfilling, enjoyable and meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike. In her free time, Haley enjoys working out and spending time with her chorkie puppy, Ruggles. Strengthening Community Roots: Second Annual Giving Tree at Lake Eola

The second-annual Giving Tree event, which will benefit Kids Beating Cancer, will take place on October 6th from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola Park. The event will allow patrons to buy a wish for a child in need, play family-friendly games, and spend time with good-hearted residents. A wish costs just as little as a dollar, and will give those donating the chance to hang a wish from the branches of the Giving Tree. All proceeds will go toward supporting Kids Beating Cancer, an organization whose mission is to increase access to treatment for children with cancer, leukemia and other life threatening diseases.
