Hilton Worldwide Global Week of Service Awareness Art Show

Goodwill can be simply defined as giving a little of yourself for the good of others. During the 2013 Hilton Worldwide Global Week of Service, Hilton team members did just that by completing more than 2,400 volunteer projects to impact the lives of others around the world. To recognize and honor local volunteers, Hilton Grand Vacations hosted an art inspired gallery show, titled “The Spirit of Giving” at Appleton Creative. The show featured a customer-designed Giving Circle™, highlighting Hilton volunteers during the Global Week of Service and artwork of iconic celebrities created by Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida resident, Haywood Green.

Designated Texter Campaign Recognized

at Creativity International Awards

To keep the roads safe and decrease accidents caused by driving and texting, Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority partnered with Appleton Creative to create an integrative campaign complete with web landing pages, print ads, billboards, TV and radio spots PSAs, and more. The campaign garnered national media attention, helped a new texting-while-driving bill get passed, and won a 43rd Annual International Creativity Award in the category of Print-Branding, Campaigns.

Stand Up for Someone – Discourage Bullying 

Did you know that it’s bullying when a student says “You’re so gay, worthless, retarded, stupid, or ugly?” Appleton Creative worked with the Zebra Coalition, in conjunction with Orange County Public School’s (OCPS) Student Assistance and Family Empowerment (SAFE) program, to create an anti-bullying campaign now in 102 schools within the district. Stirring media interest upon release, the campaign was highly received by Central Florida media outlets.

Appleton Strikes the Ice – Solar Bears Campaign

At Appleton, we love our local sports teams. Much like we did in 2012, this year we worked with Orlando Solar Bears to design campaign materials for a variety of events including their Military Appreciation Weekend Games, Girl Scout Night, and Teacher Appreciation Weekend. We designed e-blasts, print materials, web banner ads, posters, postcards and billboards to promote the community events held by our local professional ice hockey team.

Supporting, Honoring and Developing Women Leaders

Who’s helping to run the world? Women leaders, that’s who! In November, ATHENA Internationalsponsored the Women’s Leadership Luncheon, designed to celebrate the women professionals who bridge the gap between emerging generations. The luncheon raises money for the UCF Foundation Fund for female students. 2013’s luncheon contributed over $20,000 in donations! ATHENA International’s goal is to pledge $100,000 over the next 5 years.

GOAA’s Billboards are Non-Stoppable

With more non-stop flights than ever before, Orlando International Airport (MCO) continues to be unstoppable in providing passengers with the most direct flight choices. This thought sparked MCO’s new push to advertise the most non-stop flights to destinations across the United States. MCO’s “Non-Stoppable Flights” campaign was conceived with billboards placed throughout Florida, produced in both English and Spanish. Appleton Creative designed billboards featuring superhero-like professionals, couples, and families soaring through the air, uniquely portraying the power of flight with MCO.
