Colleges/Universities
On-TRAC collaborates with various departments and
service personnel on campus. Our collaborative approach
makes the On-TRAC system a benefit to Student Counseling Centers,
Offices of Student Disability, and other counseling services provided
by colleges and universities. The mutual collaboration between
On-TRAC and campus services is essential to student success.

A 2005 study showed that only 31% of college graduates can read proficiently, compared to 40% in 1992. |

Many students hide
their struggles from parents, friends,
and the school until the problem has become quite severe. At that
point, on-campus service options may lack the intensity needed to
improve the situation. Colleges and universities often refer to
On-TRAC when they identify students who are struggling academically
and/or socially beyond the scope of the counseling
services available on campus.
Conversely, many students simply do not access
the vast array of services available to them on-campus. Therefore,
once a relationship with On-TRAC has been established, we work hard
to redirect students back to campus provided services when appropriate.
The On-TRAC COMPASS and RoadMap can specify that students access
services provided at their school. However, our involvement does
not end there. Our coaching staff will ensure that the student actually
becomes linked to the services available to them.
On-TRAC is available to consult with all colleges and universities on how we can assist with improving student retention and decreasing student drop out rates.
