Tavistock Group: Albany Bahamas
CHALLENGE
Tucked into 600 oceanfront acres on the coast of Paradise Island, Bahamas, Albany is a luxury community born form a unique partnership. Tavistock Group, along with legendary golf greats Tiger Woods and Ernie Els, came together to design and build this innovative resort community. Before construction began, Appleton Creative was commissioned to develop a marketing campaign based upon the community’s vision. Our challenge was to successfully communicate the carefree, amenity-rich, exclusive opportunity to Albany’s prospective buyers.
STRATEGY
Appleton Creative began by interviewing key contributors and staff to get a sense of the vision for Albany. Thousands of images and design samples were selected. We brainstormed and decided to create custom binders, which would highlight to investors the full scope of the Albany lifestyle. After the initial brand was developed, our team created content, image spreads, tabs, renderings, and bios for the included architects.
RESULTS
The custom binders created significant interest, which surrounded the development of the property. The creative piece itself was the winner of a 2008 Orlando Advertising Federation Addy Award and a Create Magazine Silver Award. Awareness increased for the prestigious, new community, which stayed consistent throughout the year. The binders have been re-ordered several times due to our client’s overwhelming satisfaction.
