CHALLENGE
Zebra Coalition, a network of organizations which provide services to LGBTQ youth in need, needed to establish and define its brand to promote awareness among Central Florida’s LGBTQ community. The mission of the coalition needed to be expressed through strong branding.
STRATEGY
Appleton Creative developed the Zebra Coalition brand by using bold imagery against traditional black and white zebra stripes, evoking the adage “life isn’t always black and white.” Once a brand was established, Appleton went on to create a website to be used as a resource, as well as an anti-bullying campaign including posters and brochures for Orange County schools. Brand collateral and promotional items were also developed to further promote the Zebra Coalition brand to the public.
RESULTS
Zebra Coalition experienced a surge in community awareness, and received countless positive responses to the design and implementation of their branding. The coalition’s compelling mission is captured by the various collateral and website, and the coalition continues to be an important resource to Central Florida’s LGBTQ community.
