As a graphic designer nearing two decades in the business, Dolly has a depth of experience in design and art direction that covers multiple mediums. Dolly has designed content for print, interactive and web-based mediums alike. Her ability to create beautiful designs and knack for nailing every detail make her influence essential to any project.
Her professional career began at Think Tank Studio, Inc., a design firm in Clearwater, Florida. In her role as graphic designer, she completed a variety of projects including printed advertisements, logos and mailers. Dolly was also in charge of selecting conceptual imagery and attending press checks, in addition to providing assistance during production coordination with clients, printers, publications and vendors.
After benefitting her first studio, Dolly took her talents to Orlando where she became senior graphic designer for a multibillion-dollar corporation, CNL Financial Group. Her time with CNL consisted of creating in-house marketing materials including brochures, advertisements, greeting cards and web banners for internal and external campaigns. With a focus on corporate brand maintenance, Dolly managed the production process of CNL’s design collateral. It was during her career at CNL that Dolly came in contact with Appleton Creative. She worked jointly with Appleton in a client/vendor capacity on various branding and marketing projects.
When Diana LaRue, CEO, creative director and principal of Appleton Creative, offered Dolly a position at the agency, she happily accepted. Dolly is now senior art director and designer for the company. In her current role, Dolly specializes in branding, marketing promotions and advertising design. She works with all forms of print collateral and advertising media from concept through completion. She also designs digital interactive flash content for web and presentations.
During her tenure as senior art director and designer, Dolly has been responsible for several key projects with multibillion dollar clients including annual reports (both print and interactive) for the Orlando International Airport, CNL corporate brochures, including CNL Hospitality and Retirement Communities, Orlando Regional Healthcare interactive, Tavistock print and digital promotional pieces, and Hilton Grand Vacations branding and web design. In total, Dolly has created success stories for hundreds of clients during her time at Appleton.
When Dolly isn’t designing, she loves reading stories with her two daughters and listening to podcasts.

What are some favorite daily activities?
Eating dinner with my family; reading bedtime stories to my two amazing daughters; feeding my podcast addiction while doing mundane, necessary tasks around my house. Some of my favorites are WTF with Marc Maron, Filmspotting, Stuff You Missed in History Class and Fresh Air with Terry Gross.
What are your favorite SNL moments?
The Barry Gibb Talk Show, Mom Jeans commercial and anything with Alec Baldwin or Bill Murray.
